Kyla Penner, founder of KPSquared, approached us to create a cinematic founder video that would authentically tell her story and the deeper mission behind her work.
Based in Alberta, KPSquared has become known for its holistic childcare approach — with long waitlists from both parents and educators.
But behind the business is a powerful journey.
After being taken to court by the Alberta government over her approach to childcare — and winning — Kyla reached a point where she was ready to fully share her story.
Not just as a business…
but as a movement.
She wanted a professional brand video that would capture:
This wasn’t about marketing.
It was about truth.
Like many founders with a deep and meaningful story, the challenge wasn’t a lack of content — it was how to bring it all together.
Kyla’s journey was emotional, layered, and deeply personal.
The key challenges were:
• Translating an internal life story into a clear external narrative
• Capturing vulnerability while maintaining strength and leadership
• Creating a video that feels real – not overly polished or scripted
At its core:
How do you turn a lived experience into a story that truly moves people?
At ALL IN Productions, we don’t just offer video production — we guide the entire process.
This project was rooted in authentic storytelling, coaching, and presence.
We chose to film at Kyla’s ranch, surrounded by her family and environment – allowing the story to unfold naturally in a space that reflects who she truly is.
Our approach included:
• Deep conversations to uncover the essence of her story
• Coaching and guidance to help her express it clearly on camera
• Creating a calm, grounded filming environment
• Capturing both structured storytelling and real, in-between moments
Nothing was forced.
We focused on alignment over performance – allowing Kyla to speak from truth, not from a script.
Because if it doesn’t feel real… it won’t connect.
This became more than just a video.
It’s now:
• A foundational brand piece for KPSquared
• A powerful way to communicate trust, values, and vision
• A story that resonates deeply with both parents and educators
And beyond the video itself:
Kyla now shows up even more fully in her work and message.
This is what happens when storytelling is aligned.
This is what it actually looked like behind the scenes (watch below):
• Filming in a meaningful, natural environment (her ranch)
• Creating space for real emotion and reflection
• Guiding the process without pressure or performance
• Allowing the story to unfold organically
Most people feel uncomfortable on camera at first.
That’s part of the process.
By the end, something shifts.
